Hamilton Beach Coffeemaker, (What's this?) This coffee maker works perfectly! I previously purchased Kitchenaid as I thought their products were superior. I found out this was incorrect. I had to underfill it with water ro prevent leaking all over the counter. It was difficult to clean and only made 10 cups. The Hamilton Beach makes 12 cups and much easier to fill and and clean. Also, it cost much less. I am very pleased with my purchase.
bought it love it, (What's this?) makes great coffee and keeps it hot. got it in red to match my other appliances, which is hard to find.
fresh coffee, (What's this?) bought a red coffee maker, coffee maker looks great came quickly no problems. Shipping cost were a little high but the coffee taste great. I would buy from amazon again with no worries.
Big Red Makes Great Coffee, Looks Good, Auto Shutoff; A Few Caveats..., (What's this?) This coffeemaker makes great coffee, period. And, isn't that what you want a coffeemaker to do? Some thoughts for your consideration.

PRO's - 1) Makes great coffee. 2) Has auto shutoff after 2 hours which allows me to rest easy so I don't have to turn around halfway to work in the morning when I think.."uh oh, did I turn off the coffeemaker?" 3) Looks really good sitting on the counter. I call it "Big Red"

CON's - 1) Big Red lives up to it's name.....it's BIG! If you are constrained for counter space, you may want to try another. 2) Big Red has a big top that has to be flipped open to pour in the water. You need to make sure you have enough space for the top to clear. 3) Difficult to see the clock because it's not lit up. 4) The water indicator is on the side and in the back, so that's difficult to see also. 5)After you flip up the top, you have to pour the water into a hole in the back. It's a little clunky. 6) To remove the plastic lid from the glass decanter, you have to sort of wiggle it around and pull it so these little clips disengage. The little clips seem fragile, but they haven't broken....yet. We'll see. 7) Auto shutoff isn't adjustable, it's set at 2 hours. 8) Difficult to see the coffee as it goes into the glass decanter so you can't be 100% sure it's done brewing the coffee unless you get up really close (of course, you could wait until it makes those gurgle noises as it runs out of water).

So, if all the "con's" could be fixed for an extra $1, would I pay the extra $1?Yes! But if it cost an extra $5 for them to be fixed, would I pay the extra $5? No!! You can't beat this machine for the price, it makes great coffee and all the con's listed are really small. You can't go wrong with this machine.
Coffee maker is ok, (What's this?) As other reviews state, pouring the water into the reservoir is tricky until you get the hang of it. I also am disappointed that the clock is not better illuminated -- you can't see it at all in the dark.
