You need this frother..., (What's this?) I just purchased my second BonJour Frother because I was so impressed with the first one. I usually made chai tea with half milk/half chai with some powered milk so I could get a little foam after heating it up. Now I don't need the powered milk thanks to this frother.
Better frother but didn't last long, (What's this?) I purchased this to try it out, after years using the Aerolatte because I found the Aerolatte took too long and didn't create the best foam. In fact the BonJour Frother DOES do a better job of frothing milk - it works up to a solid, dense foam much faster than the Aerolatte. However, the on/off button quit after 2 months, so then I had turn it on and off by screwing and unscrewing the cap. Eventually the internal spring and fitting inside the cap just broke--dead. Less than 6 months it took to bite the dust, but at $9.95 that's only about 10 cents a day, not counting batteries.
Excellent frother, This frother can mix consistencies ranging from cappuccinos to eggs to thick yogurt. I am enjoying my coffees and my lassis.
good while it lasts, I just threw away my third or fourth bonjour frother. Yes, it's cheap, but after 6 months they stop working. You can fiddle w/ the top that engages the batteries, but that, too, soon fails.
The frother is cheap and works great until it doesn't. Bonjour ought to attach a disclaimer that it stops working after a while. I guess you get what you pay for.
This is fantastic., (What's this?) Works best with non-fat milk. Don't need much milk to get lots of "froth."
Try it, you will love it if you like "froth." You can eat it by the spoonful and
still have enough to fill you coffee cup.
Messy, (What's this?) The shaft on the frother arrived slightly bent. This causes the frother end to wobble. Because it is unbalanced it tends to splash the milk around. Works but is messy.
so much better than going to a coffee shop, (What's this?) On the days you want to stay in your pj's and relax, gives me a coffee shop feel right at home. This gives a great foam cap and I like the push top button, you can actually get the speed at different rates by the amount of pressure you apply. I am so glad I got this.
wonderful!, (What's this?) I bought this to go along with a cheaper espresso machine. I heat my milk for 45 seconds in the microwave and then froth the milk and pour in my espresso and sugar free vanilla syrup.
I should have known, I really should have known. This was a cheap frother, and the reviews were so-so, some saying it worked a long time, some saying it worked 3 times then KAPUT! Well- I got a 3-time-worker-then-KAPUT. It's a shame, because it had a lot of power and I was so excited when I got it. But it died on me this morning and hasn't started yet. I worried that maybe I got it wet somehow, but I didn't. My only guess is the steam from the milk I was frothing got into it somehow and frizzed it out.
